WELCOME, ONE-AND-ALL, TO THE WACKY WORLD OF PIERS LANGLAND!
CAN PIERS CHOOSE A GENRE FOR HIS NOVEL? CAN PIERS FINISH ON TIME AND WIN NaNoWwiMo? CAN PIERS DO ANYTHING RIGHT?

What's It All About, Alfie?
So, what is WRITE NOW! The Prisoner of NaNoWriMo? Excellent question - I can tell you're one of the sharper tacks in the box! Seriously, as you can imagine, it is devilishly hard for an author to describe their own book. We are too close to judge objectively and we love them all so very much. Also, we know the book is so good everyone will love it - so stop reading this ad and read to book!
That said, okay, here goes. WRITE NOW! The Prisoner of NaNoWriMo was my personal winner for the National Novel Writer's Month competition in 2009. The second I decided to enter the competition, the concept and the title came to me in a flash - it was my only choice. The book had to be written!
WRITE NOW! The Prisoner of NaNoWriMo follows Piers Langland, an unobtrusive wholesale paint distributor who has but one burning passion - he wants to be an author, a creator of exemplary literature. In fact, Piers is absolutely certain of he will not only win NaNoWriMo but that he is destine to become a famously successful author. He only has three little problems. First, he cannot decide on a genre. Scifi or fantasy, romance or vampire, zombie or pulp fiction - which should it be? Second, he procrastinates so much, he may not finish his entry in time even if he does chose a subject. Third, and please excuse me for saying this, but Piers can be a real idiot at times. He can be clueless, insensitive, and slow to catch-on. But, still, you have to love him - you will love him! Read WRITE NOW! The Prisoner of NaNoWriMo and feel every bump Piers hits, blush with his every misstep, and feel his pain - he could use a little help you know. The bottom-line: this is a funny book which pokes fun at most mainstream genres and will make you laugh - and groan a little too. Que aprovechés!

I, as the author, have preogatives and options. Hence, I have elected to alter slightly the title of this book. I released it as simply The Prisoner of NaNoWriMo, but am altering it slightly. It is now, drum-roll please: Write Now! The Prisoner of NaNoWriMo. I decided to amend the title as so for people knew what NaNoWriMo was, so I did not wish to rely too heavily on the recognition to catch the eye. Write now is, after all, what Piers needs to do. We shall see...

GREETINGS AND FELICITATIONS!
Deep breath, Craig - deep breath. This is soooo cool! Welcome to my blog page dedicated to my third, and so far favorite - but don't tell numbers One and Two - novel. I want to feature the book, help promote it, and, in a perfect world, start a dialogue between me at the book's fans. I know, big vision. But, hey, a guy can dream, can't he?
So check out the links to buy the book in any number of formats. You can also download a free podcast version, narrated by the great Renee Chambliss, Bryan Lincoln, and yours truly.
Added pluses are that if you link to the text or audio versions, you can check-out the reviews each has received.
Now don't be shy! Visit my Blog: Craig Robertson in the Form of a Blog too. It's at http://myfavoriteauthor-craig.blogspot.com/ or follow the link to the right.
